About the Artist:
"Fusing, hammering and manipulating fine silver wire is very basic but the "what ifs" of designing with that wire is where the fun begins. I approach the design very much as I would a painting. Always considering how the elements relate to the whole. Although most of my pieces are made of silver and semiprecious stones, I will also at times incorporate bits of shell, sea glass, and beach pebbles that I find in my travels. I'm always on the lookout for materials to use in unexpected ways."
Nan has had a lifelong interest in art, which has led to thirty years of creating art as a weaver, a fiber artist, a painter, and jewelry artist.
